Creation of a movement composition in disco dance

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat vývoj tanečního stylu disco dance v dětské věkové kategorii disco dance sólo ženy a návrh modelové sestavy pro danou kategorii. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do 4 kapitol, které jsou členěny následovně. První kapitola je věnována teorii tance, rozdělení tanečních stylů a zařazení stylu disco dance. Dále se kapitola zabývá jeho historickým vývojem a nynější podobě, soutěžnímu úseku a největší taneční organizaci na území ČR a mezinárodní organizaci vytvářející pravidla pro soutěžení v disco dance. Konec první kapitoly je věnován teorii sportovního výkonu a výkonu v disco dance. Druhá kapitola rozebírá pojem pohybová skladba a definuje její složky, kam lze zařadit hudbu a choreografii. Třetí kapitola analyzuje vývoj soutěžních skladeb v disco dance sólo dětské věkové kategorie od roku 2007 až po současnost (2021). V poslední kapitole je navržena modelová sestava pro nadcházející taneční sezónu na základě předchozí analýzy, tak aby skladba byla konkurenceschopnou na tuzemských soutěžích a následně na mezinárodních mistrovstvích. Samotný závěr se věnuje návrhu doporučení, které by zajistilo lepší fungování tanečních soutěží na území České republiky.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the development of disco dance style in the children's age category of disco dance solo female and to propose a model routine for this category. The bachelor thesis is divided into 4 chapters, which are structured as follows. The first chapter is devoted to the theory of dance, the division of dance styles and the classification of the disco dance style. Next, the chapter deals with its historical development and present form, the competition section and the largest dance organization in the country and the international organization creating rules for competing in disco dance. The end of the first chapter is devoted to the theory of sport and performance in disco dance. The second chapter discusses the concept of movement composition and defines its components, which may include music and choreography. The third chapter analyses the development of competitive compositions in disco dance solo children's age category from 2007 to the present (2021). The last chapter proposes a model routine for the upcoming dance season based on the previous analysis, so that the piece is competitive in domestic competitions and subsequently in international championships. The very end is devoted to the proposal of recommendations that would ensure better functioning of dance competitions in the Czech Republic.
