Abstract:
SMC5-6 complex belongs with cohesin and condensin to a family of SMC (Structure Maintenance of Chromosome) complexes whose role is to regulate a structure and dynamics of chromatin and participate in the reparation of the damaged DNA. SMC5-6 komplex patří spolu s kohezinem a kondenzinem do rodiny SMC (Structure Maintenance of Chromosome) komplexů, které mají za úkol regulovat strukturu a dynamiku chromatinu a podílet se na opravě poškozené DNA. V této práci se podařilo purifikovat přírodní i mutovaný proteinový dimer NSE1-NSE3. Metodou EMSA se podařilo prokázat, že protein NSE1-NSE3 váže DNA. Tato vazba je ovlivněná délkou DNA. …more
