The Chronicle of Přibík Pulkava from Radenín - manuscript A101

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a přepisem části Pulkavovy kroniky v rukopisu A101. V práci je Pulkavova kronika nejprve zasazena do kontextu dobového kronikářství a do celkového historického kontextu. Podobně je do širšího historického kontextu zasazen i vznik samotného rukopisu A101, který nejspíše souvisí s benediktinským klášterem v Třebíči. V závěrečné fázi této práce je uveden přepis prvních 33 kapitol Pulkavovy kroniky v tomto rukopisu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and transcription of Pulkava Chronicle in the A101 manuscript. First, the chronicle is put into the context of Bohemian and Moravian medieval historiography and in wider historical context of the rule of Charles IV. Second, similarly is contextualized the compilation of the ms. A101, which was probably copyied for Benedictine Monastery Třebíč in Western Moravia. The final part of this work includes a transcript of the first 33 chapters of Pulkava´s chronicle in that manuscript.
