Abstract:

SÝKORA, Ján: Internet as a selling channel for banking products. [Bachelor work] – Banking University Institute in Prague. Foreign Country University in Banska Bystrica. Faculty of economics and finances. Supervisor: Ing. Eva Miklošíková. This work is describing the usage of internet in the Slovak banking area and its general utilization and contribution for common clients. Basically, it is devoted about electronic banking, especially internet-banking. I took the advantage of writing this work about internet-banking standards, features and all possible threats, which is facing to these days. The internet usage in banking area increases and therefore I am describing also other possible ways of its appliance and not only by form of selling channel but predominantly as a communication channel between the bank and the client. The leading aim of this work is concerning about popular form of banking in Slovakia- mBank. I am analyzing internet banking utilization in Slovak market and all possible advantages and disadvantages for current or future potencial clients. Analitical part of this work is devoted to analyze specific features and possibilities of internet banking in other two commercial banks.

Fakulta ekonomie a financii.Vedúci práce: Ing. Eva Miklošíková. Táto práca popisuje spôsoby využívania internetu v oblasti bankovníctva na Slovensku a jeho celkové využitie a prínos pre klientov. V podstate sa jedná o elektronické bankovníctvo a konkrétne internetbanking. Využil som túto možnosť a vo svojej práci popisujem štandardy internetbankingu, funkcií a jeho hrozieb, ktorým v súčastnej dobe čelí. V bankovej sfére sa využíva internet čoraz častejšie a preto popisujem aj ďalšie možné spôsoby jeho využitia nielen formou predajného kanálu ale hlavne komunikačného média medzi bankou a klientom. V hlavnej časti tejto práce sa podrobnejšie zaoberám modernou formou bankovníctva na Slovensku, a to je systém mBank. Rozoberám jeho využitie na Slovenskom trhu a jeho možné výhody a nevýhody pre terajších ale aj budúcich potenciálnych klientov. V analytickej časti analyzujem špecifické funkcie a možnosti internet bankingu v dvoch ďaľších komerčných bankách. internet, elektronické bankovníctvo, mBank, informácie, internetbanking
