Impact of the clothing industry on the environment and human psyche

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vlivu oděvního průmyslu na životní prostředí a psychiku lidi. Cílem této práce je zohlednit současný vývoj oděvního průmyslu, jaké dopady kvůli jeho činnosti trpí životní prostředí a jak lidé jsou ovlivněné vývojem módní industrie. Pro tento účel je zpracováván nejprve teoretický základ problematiky, ve kterém jsou popsány charakteristiky oděvního průmyslu, jeho negativní dopady na ekologii, příčiny závislosti lidí na nakupování oblečení a možné řešení problematiky. Na tuto část navazuje metodická část, která představuje popis výzkumného šetření a metod analýzy a sběru dat. Závěrečnou částí je praktická část, která je zaměřena na analýzu nákupního chování generací Y a Z a také jejich postoje k problematice popsané v teoretické části. Praktická část je navázaná na vlastní výzkum, provedený v podobě dotazníku, kterého se zúčastnilo 250 respondentů.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the issues of the influence of the clothing industry on the environment and psyche of people. The aim of this work is to take into account the current evolution of the clothing industry, the impact of its activities on the environment and how people are affected by the development of fashion industry. For this purpose, the theoretical framework of the issue is processed, in which are described the characteristics of the clothing industry, its negative effects for ecology, the causes of dependency of people on the clothes shopping and a possible problem solving. This section follows the methodological part, which represents the description of the research and methods of analysis and data collection. The final part is the practical part which is focused on the analysis of the purchasing behaviour of generation Y and Z and also its attitude to the issue described in the theoretical part. The practical part is based on own research, carried out in the form of a questionnaire, which was participated by 250 respondents.
