The Participation of Czech Soldiers in the Isonzo Front during the Great World War 1915-1917
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce seznamuje s událostmi na tzv. sočské frontě v letech 1915-1917 a soustředí se především na účast vojáků z českých zemí v horské části této fronty. Dále věnuje pozornost českým umělcům, kteří zde bojovali, současnému stavu válečných památek a zájmu odborné i laické veřejnosti o ně. Práce čerpá z pramenů získaných v regionálních muzeích ve slovinském Tolminu a Kobaridu.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis informs about events at the Isonzo front in 1915-1917 and concentrates on the participation of soldiers from the Czech lands at the mountain part of the front. It pays attention to Czech artists, who had fight there, and to the actual state of war monuments there and to the interest of professional and lay public.
