Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl popsat v širších sociologických souvislostech flexibilizaci práce v Evropské unii. V první části popisuje tři sociologicky relevantní faktory, které nutí Evropskou unii k modernizaci a flexibilizaci trhů práce. Popisovanými faktory jsou demografické změny, nové technologie a globalizační procesy. V každém z těchto oddílů je také ponechán prostor pro popis některých souvisejících problémů, jakými jsou například vznik underclass, problémy spojené s imigrací nebo krize sociálního státu. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na podrobné představení konceptu flexicurity, který Evropská unie v současné době přijala jako svůj hlavní program. Koncept flexicurity má reagovat právě na tlaky plynoucí z výše uvedených faktorů. V samém závěru se pak práce stručně věnuje situaci České republiky v souvislosti se zaváděním politiky flexicurity. V této práci bylo použito 130 577 znaků.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is to discuss the flexibilization of work in the European Union in broader sociological context. First part pictures three sociologicaly relevant factors which force the European Union to modernize and flexibilize its labour markets. The discussed factors are the demographic changes, the spread of the new technologies and globalization processes. There is space left for the discussion of some related problematics in each of these sections. For example these are the emergence of underclass, integration problematics and welfare state crisis. The aim of the second part of the work is to introduce and desribe the Flexicurity approach which has been adopted as a key koncept in the „work problematics“ in the European Union. Flexicurity sould be an answer to new challenges which has been brought by abowe mentioned factors. There is also a brief stop at the end of this work which discuss the situation in the Czech Republic in relation to flexicurity.
