Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Využití volného času a antistresové mechanismy u pečujících osob“ pojednává o problematice pečovatelského stresu, způsobu práce s vlastním stresem u samotných pečujících a metodách, které jim pomáhají stres eliminovat. Pečovatelský stres může působit negativně na psychické i fyzické zdraví, má také významný vliv na kvalitu života pečujícího, a může mít významné negativní důsledky na kvalitu poskytované péče nemocnému seniorovi. Cílem diplomové práce je seznámit čtenáře s tématy týkajícími se péče o seniory, specifiky poskytovaní takové péče, ale i různými podobami pečovatelské zátěže. Dále se práce snaží upozornit na význam a důležitost práce pečujících osob se stresem, popisuje některé metody a techniky, jak lze se stresem pracovat. Hlavním cílem výzkumu v praktické části je popsat, jaké strategie vyrovnávání se s psychickou a fyzickou zátěží spojenou s péčí o seniory nejčastěji pečovatelé volí.

Abstract:

The thesis " Use of leisure time and anti-stress mechanisms in carers " deals with the issue of the carers´ stress, the way how the carers cope with their own stress, and the methods that help them eliminate their stress. Stress can have a negative effect on mental and physical health of the carers, it also has a significant impact on their quality of life, and it can also have a significant negative impact on the quality of care provided to the ill elderly people. The thesis aims to acquaint readers with topics related to the care of the elderly, the specifics of providing such care, as well as different forms of care strain. Furthermore, the work tries to draw attention to the sense and importance of carers' work with stress, it describes some methods and techniques for working with stress. The main aim of the research in the practical part is to describe what strategies how to cope with both mental and physical strains connected with the care of the elderly are chosen by carers most frequently.
