Entrepreneur surrounding in the Slovac Republic - economic and law conditions

Abstract:

Annotation Presented bachelor thesis is dealing with defining the business environment on theoretical level but also in terms of Slovak republic. It is bringing closer the conditions and the development of business environment in Slovakia from the conversion from the centre controlled economy to the market one up to today. Present conditions for business are split up into economical and legal. The economical conditions are given by the macro economical values such as gross domestic product, unemployment, labour productivity or inflation. Legal conditions of the business environment are given by all the laws, regulations and orders which sort of interfere to the business activities. The bachelor thesis brings the view (perspective) of some latest analysis realised in the Slovak business environment. The analysis are based on generally known and respected quality indicators of the business environment such as Business Environment Index, Opacity Index, Corruption Perception Index, Capture Index, Corporate Governance Risk Index and Aggregate Governance Indicators. The bachelor thesis brings closer the results of the Global Competitiveness Report, which is regularly prepared by the World economical forum and the Doing Business publication, which is the result of analysis realised by the World Bank. On the basis of analysis of national and transnational institutions was possible to identify the main problems, which are obstructed growth of the quality of the Slovak business environment.

Abstract:

Anotace Predložená bakalárska práca sa zaoberá definovaním podnikateľského prostredia na teoretickej úrovni ale aj v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky. Približuje podmienky a vývoj podnikateľského prostredia na Slovensku od prechodu z centrálne riadenej ekonomiky na trhovú až po súčasnosť. Súčasné podmienky podnikania sú členené na ekonomické a právne. Ekonomické podmienky sú dané makroekonomickými veličinami ako hrubým domácim produktom, nezamestnanosťou, produktivitou práce alebo infláciou. Právne podmienky podnikateľského prostredia určujú všetky zákony, nariadenia a predpisy, ktoré viac alebo menej zasahujú do činnosti podnikateľov. Bakalárska práca prináša prehľad niektorých z posledných analýz uskutočnených v oblasti podnikateľského prostredia na Slovensku. Pri analýze problémov sa opiera o všeobecne známe a uznávané indikátory kvality podnikateľského prostredia, ako sú Index podnikateľského prostredia, Index neprehľadnosti, Index vnímania korupcie, Index zajatia štátu, Index rizika správy akciových spoločností a Agregátne indexy. Bakalárska práca približuje výsledky Správy o globálnej konkurencieschopnosti, ktorú pravidelne zostavuje Svetové ekonomické fórum a publikácie Doing Business, ktorá je výsledkom analýz uskutočňovaných Svetovou bankou. Na základe analýz národných a nadnárodných inštitúcií bolo možné identifikovať hlavné problémy, ktoré bránia rastu kvality podnikateľského prostredia na Slovensku.
