Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tzv. LARPy, tedy hrami na živo, jejichž podstatou je hraní rolí. Ve své fiktivní roli se hráč během hry dostává do různých sociálních situací a interakcí, podobně jako v běžném životě. Rozdíl je, že tyto interakce mezi účastníky se dějí pod vlivem "masky" dané imaginární postavy. Podmínky LARPu v tomto ohledu představují relativně bezpečné prostředí pro rolovou experimentaci a důsledku z nich vyplývající. Role se hrají tzv. "nanečisto", hráči nereprezentují sami sebe. Období adolescence a mladé dospělosti (období, z něhož se hráči často rekrutují) je pro člověka významným právě z hlediska osvojování a utváření nových sociálních rolí a dovedností v rámci utváření identity. Bakalářská práce se pokouší blíže popsat důsledky, které na člověka v tomto procesu může hraní rolí na LARPu mít. Se zkušenými hráči v období adolescence a mladé dospělosti byly provedeny polostrukturované rozhovory. Ty byly následně analyzovány pomocí metody zakotvené teorie. Z výsledků analýzy je patrná provázanost různých témat souvisejících s hraním rolí a utvářením identity jedince v širším kontextu, např. působením vrstevníků. Hraní rolí na LARPu ovlivňuje utváření identity přímo - experimentace s vlastnostmi rolí a jejich integrace do osobnosti, podpora sebehodnocení prostřednictvím experimentace, zkoušení sociálních situací nanečisto, ale také nepřímo – sebeprezentace v rámci skupiny hráčů, identifikace se skupinou, navazování přátelských vztahů, možnost autentické sebeexprese při hraní rolí. Uvedené faktory ovlivňují v širším kontextu jak jedincovo sebepoznání, tak celkové sebepojetí. Jsou součástí utvářené identity jedince.

Abstract:

This work is about so called LARPs. These games are based on life role-playing. While in his fictive role, the player has to act in various social situations similar to normal life. The diference is that these interactions among the players are under the influence of certain role or “mask” of the fictive characters. LARPs thus represent safe surrounding for the experimentation with the roles and their consequences. The players do not represent themselves – the enactment is about pretending the role. The period of adolescence and emerging adulthood is significant from the perspective of role teaching and creating new social roles and skills as factors of identity creation. This Bachelor’s work describes the impacts that emerge from the process of playing the LARP roles. There have been made interviews with the experienced players that belong to the target age group. These interviews were then analyzed using the grounded theory. The results of the analysis show the interconnection of various topics that are related to the role-playing and identity creation in the larger context. The LARP role-playing affects the creation of the individual identity both directly (experimentation with the role aspects and their integration within the personality, support of the self-esteem through the experimentation, probing the social roles) and indirectly (group self-presentation, group identification, creation of peer relationship, possibility of authentic self expression during the role-playing). These factors affect player’s self-perception as well as the global self-concept. Both are parts of the identity creation.
