Interactive applications in speech therapy practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi využití tabletových aplikací v praxi logopedů. Teoretickou část práce tvoří první dvě kapitoly. V první kapitole je vymezen pojem logopedie a jeho historie. Dále jsou popsány resorty, ve kterých logopedická péče probíhá v České republice. V poslední části první kapitoly jsou uvedeny důležité logopedické pojmy: diagnostika, terapie a prevence. Druhá kapitola se blíže věnuje tématu tabletů. V rámci této kapitoly jsou popsány technické parametry tabletu a nejpoužívanější aplikace, které jsou vhodné pro logopedickou péči. Zmíněny jsou i možnosti, jakým způsobem mohou logopedi aplikace využívat a jaké oblasti s dětmi díky nim mohou procvičovat. Třetí kapitola je empirickou částí této bakalářské práce a je zpracována formou kvantitativního výzkumného šetření. Jako výzkumný nástroj byl zvolen dotazník. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem využívají logopedi tabletové aplikace ve své praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of tablet applications usage in speech therapists´ practice. Theoretical part of the thesis consists of first two chapters. In the first chapter, there is defined concept of speech therapy and its history. Furthermore, departments in which speech therapy is carried out in the Czech Republic are described. In the last part of the first chapter, significant logopedic terms such as diagnostics, therapy and prevention are mentioned. The second chapter already focuses on tablets topic in more detail. Within this chapter, tablet technical specifications and most used appliactions suitable for speech therapy are depicted. There are also mentioned options of how speech therapists can use the applicatons and which areas they can practise with children. The third chapter is the empirical part of this bachelor thesis and is elaborated in the form of quantitative research. As a research tool, a questionnaire was chosen. The main aim of the thesis was to find out how speech therapists use tablet applications in their practice.
