To the Concept of the Czech and Slovak Realism in the Late 19th century (Rustic Theme in Selected Prose M. Kukučín and K. V. Rais)

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the concept of Slovakia-Czech realism in the late 19th century, focussing on rustic theme. Realism decribe generally as a new development tendency, but we also characteristic Czech-Slovak relations in 19th century. While the rustic realism interpreted in prose M. Kukučín and K. V. Rais. Am interested in rustic, which is not only a social area, but also an important motivational faktor Works of both authors. In specific texts M. Kukučín and K. V. Rais I would point out processed themes throught characteristics of the characters, enviroment, conflict and its solution, the narrator. Throught of coherent comparing reveal differences at the onsent of capitalism and its impact on human deformation character. In conclusion I recapiculate the different and common signs of rustic realism and think about the timelessness of these works of art.

Abstract:

V mojej diplomovej práci sa zaoberám koncepciou slovensko-českého realizmu na konci 19. storočia so zameraním sa na dedinskú tematiku. Realizmus charakterizujem všeobecne ako novú vývojovú tendenciu, ale zaoberám sa aj česko-slovenskými vzťahmi v 19.storočí. Pričom dedinský realizmus interpretujem v prózach M. Kukučína a K.V. Raisa. Zaujímam sa o dedinu , ktorá je nielen sociálnym priestorom, ale aj významným motivačným činiteľom diel oboch autorov. Na konkrétnych textov M. Kukučína a K.V. Raisa – Neprebudený a Kalibův zločin poukazujem na spracovanú tematiku cez charakteristiku postáv, prostredia, konfliktu a jeho riešenia, rozprávača. Cez celistvú komparáciu poukazujem na rozdiely spoločnosti pri nástupe kapitalizmu a jeho dopad na deformáciu ľudských dedinských charakterov. V závere sa snažím zrekapitulovať rozdielne a spoločné znaky dedinského realizmu a zamýšľam sa nad nadčasovosťou týchto umeleckých diel.
