Analysis of the possibilities of financing the non-profit sector in the field of fine arts in the years 2000 - 2017 in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Práce představí oblast neziskového sektoru v prostředí české ekonomiky a zaměří se především na oblast výtvarného umění. Sektor neziskových organizací je oblast národního hospodářství, která svým specifickým charakterem a rozsahem působení přispívá velkou měrou k rozvoji a prospěchu celé společnosti. V současnosti však finanční prostředky alokované v této oblasti nedostačují požadovanému rozsahu produkce. Stěžejní část práce se bude věnovat možnostem financování neziskových organizací v oblasti kultury a zejména pak výtvarného umění. Práce poskytne ucelený přehled těchto možností, se kterými neziskové organizace mohou pracovat a pokusí se porovnat tyto možnosti se zeměmi, které jsou obdobně politicko-ekonomicky definované. Pro takové srovnání využije země, které jsou, stejně jako Česká republika, součástí Visegrádské skupiny. Vzájemné porovnání takových možností může pomoct stanovit možný směr, kterým se v oblasti financování neziskového sektoru v kultuře může ubírat i Česká republika a dopomoci tak zefektivnit stávající situaci.

Abstract:

The work will introduce the area of the non-profit sector in the Czech economy and will focus mainly on the field of fine arts. The sector of non-profit organizations is the area of the national economy, which by its specific nature and extent of its contribution contributes greatly to the development and benefits of the whole society. At present, however, the funds allocated in this area are not sufficient to support the required production scale. The thesis will focus on the possibilities of financing non-profit organizations in the field of culture and especially fine arts. The work will provide a comprehensive overview of these options that non-profit organizations can work with and will try to compare these options with countries that are similarly politically and economically defined. For this comparison, it will use countries that, like the Czech Republic, are part of the Visegrad Group. The mutual comparison of such options can help to determine the possible direction that the Czech Republic can take in the area of financing the non-profit sector in culture, thus helping to streamline the current situation.
