Belbin's team roles and job satisfaction in a small primary school setting

Abstract:

Náplní teoretické části práce je popsat vznik, fungování a vzájemnou propojenost devíti týmových rolí podle Mereditha Belbina. Objasnit roli učitele, problematiku pracovní zátěže a spokojenosti. V úvodu analytické části představit organizaci a činnost vybrané malotřídní školy, následně zjistit zastoupení jednotlivých Belbinových rolí v pracovním týmu zvolené základní školy a úroveň pracovní spokojenosti pedagogů této instituce. V návrhové části uvést strategie k případné modifikaci ve fungování týmu jako celku i zlepšení pocitu pracovní spokojenosti.

Abstract:

The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to describe the origin, functioning and interconnectedness of the nine team roles according to Meredith Belbin. To clarify the role of the teacher, the issue of workload and satisfaction. In the beginning of the analytical part to introduce the organization and activity of a selected small class primary school, then to find out the representation of each Belbin's role in the work team of the selected primary school and the level of job satisfaction of teachers of this institution. In the design section, to provide strategies for possible modification in the functioning of the team as a whole as well as improving the sense of job satisfaction.
