Ethnocultural identification of Slovak Rusyns specifically in Bukovce and Havaj municipalities (Stropkov district)
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce čtenáře seznamuje s historií i současným postavením slovenských Rusínů. Hlavním cílem práce je zaznamenat etnokulturní identifikaci Rusínů žijících na severovýchodním Slovensku v obcích Bukovce a Havaj, kde probíhal výzkum. Zároveň jsou přiblíženy vybrané rusínské instituce pracující na Slovensku.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis introduces the reader to the history and current status of Slovak Rusyns. The main goal of the thesis is to record the ethnocultural identification of Rusyns living in north-eastern Slovakia in Bukovce and Havaj municipalities, where the research was performed. Selected Rusyn institutions in Slovakia are introduced as well.
