The effect of Wim Hof breathing method on the strenght abilities of Greco-Roman wrestlers

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je vliv Wim Hofovy dýchací metody na silové schopnosti u zápasníků řecko-římského stylu. Jejím cílem je přispět k objasnění této problematiky. Zjistit, zda existuje vliv na vytrvalostní schopnosti u zápasníku po využívání dýchací metody. Podrobíme je speciálnímu zápasnickému testu před proškolením na Hofovu metodu a také po proškolení. Výsledky porovnáme a budeme diskutovat o možných vlivech. V teoretické části jsme charakterizovali zápas, oběhový systém a jeho vliv na vytrvalostní schopnosti, v neposlední řadě Wima Hofa a jeho dýchací metodu. Ve výzkumné části se zabýváme samotným výzkumem. K výzkumu byl využit speciální zápasnický test a Hofova dýchací metoda, jíž podrobíme 20 reprezentantů zápasu pod vedením reprezentačního trenéra Mgr. Ladislava Šnellyho.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis is the influence of Wim Hof's breathing method on strength abilities in Greco-Roman style wrestlers. Its aim is to contribute to the clarification of this issue. To determine whether there is an effect on endurance abilities in wrestlers after the use of breathing methods. We will subject them to a special wrestling test before training on the Hof method and also after training. We will compare the results and discuss the possible effects. In the theoretical part, we characterized the match, the circulatory system and its influence on endurance abilities and last but not least Wim Hof and his breathing method. In the research part, we deal with the research itself. A special wrestling test and Hof's breathing method were used for the research, to which we will subject 20 representatives of wrestling under the guidance of the national coach Mgr. Ladislav Šnelly.
