The charakteristics of succesful financial advisor

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explicate the work of the financial adviser. The occupation of financial advisor experiences expansion in our labor market now. The first part of thesis is devoted to the theoretical background and to definitions of the terms of the financial market and his subjects in conditions of Slovak republic. Independent chapter is devoted to the supervision over the financial market. The second part characterize the financial consultancy, its types and the ethical codex in this sector. There are mentioned the upcoming law about financial consultancy, the financial mediators associations and financial advisers in this thesis. In the analytical part we will bring closer the status of financial adviser in Slovak republic an in the countries of Europe. Next we will list criteria of the successfulness of financial adviser, which provides the base of the work . From this subject is coming out later questionnaire survey and analysis of the results from the clients point of view. We will introduce the benefit of the profession of the financial advisor for society as well. The fourth chapter is devoted to the questionnaire, which is presented in the appendix. This questionnaire comprise the way of the compilation a evaluation in the word and graphically too. In the closing part is presented discussion, recommendation for practice and conclusions.

Abstract:

Cieľom práce je ozrejmiť prácu finančného poradcu, ktorá na slovenskom pracovnom trhu v súčasnosti prežíva expanziu. Prvá časť je venovaná teoretickým východiskám, ktoré zadefinujú pojmy finančný trh a jeho subjekty v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky. Samostatná kapitola je tiež venovaná dohľadu nad finančným trhom. Druhá časť charakterizuje poradenstvo, jeho typy, etický kódex v tomto sektore. Dotkneme sa pripravovaného zákona o finančnom poradenstve a asociácie finančných sprostredkovateľov a finančných poradcov. V analytickej časti priblížime postavenie finančného poradcu na Slovensku a v krajinách Európy, vymenujeme kritériá úspešnosti finančného poradcu, ktoré poskytujú práci základ, z ktorého vychádza neskorší dotazníkový prieskum a analýza výsledkov z pohľadu klienta. Predstavíme aj prínos profesie finančného poradcu pre spoločnosť. Štvrtá kapitola je venovaná dotazníku, ktorý je uvedený v prílohe. Zahŕňa spôsob zostavenia a vyhodnotenie slovne i graficky. V záverečnej časti je diskusia, odporúčania pre prax a závery.
