Analysis of changes in a football career during the adolescence period

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o příčinách změn v kariéře fotbalistů v období adolescence a jsou v ní obsaženy významné faktory, které tyto změny nejčastěji způsobují. Mezi zjištěné faktory patří předčasná specializace, problémové a delikventní chování (agresivita, šikana, alkohol, kouření apod.) a v některých případech dokonce i špatně zvolené studium. Výsledky mé práce mě rovněž přivedli k názoru, že jeden z nejvýznamnějších faktorů a velice aktuální problém je nedostatečná kvalifikovanost trenérů fotbalové mládeže, a to zeména v oblasti sportovní psychologie. Právě způsob práce trenérů mládeže se může velmi významně odrazit v přístupu, zájmu, morálce, odhodlání a píli dospívajících fotbalistů.

Abstract:

This thesis discusses the causes of changes in the football career during the period of adolescence and it descrives important factors that ussually cause these changes. The identified factors include premature specialization and delinquent and problematic behavior (aggressivity, byllying, alcohol, smoking etc.) and in some cases even poorly chosen course of study. The results of my work also brought me to the opinion that one of the most important factors and a very current issue is the lack of skills of coaches of youth football players, particularly in the field of sports psychology. The way the coaches work, can be very significantly reflected in the approach, interest, morale, commitment and hard work of adolescent football players.
