Effect of Karate insecticide with Zeon technology on dragonfly larvae

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na hodnocení vlivu insekticidu Karate se Zeon technologií na zástupce necílových vodních organismů, a to na larvy vážek. Rešeršní část se věnuje charakteristice pesticidů, historii používání pesticidů a jejich klasifikaci podle účinku na cílové organismy, a to především podle chemického složení, funkce, toxicity a způsobu vstupu. Pozornost je rovněž věnována problematice rezistence vůči pesticidům a alternativám v používání pesticidů. Dále se věnuje procesu posouzení a schvalování účinných látek vyskytujících se v pesticidech. Experimentální část práce se zabývá testováním akutní toxicity insekticidu na larvách vážek a testováním účinku insekticidu na klíčivost semen Sinapis alba. Pro vyhodnocení vlivu insekticidu byly vypočítány toxikologické indexy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the effect of the insecticide Karate with Zeon technology on representatives of non-target aquatic organisms, namely dragonfly larvae. The review part is devoted to the characteristics of pesticides, the history of pesticide use and their classification according to their effect on target organisms, mainly by chemical composition, function, toxicity and route of entry. Attention is also given to the issue of pesticide resistance and alternatives to pesticide use. It also looks at the process of assessment and approval of active substances in pesticides. The experimental part of the thesis deals with testing the acute toxicity of the insecticide on dragonfly larvae and testing the effect of the insecticide on the germination of Sinapis alba seeds. To evaluate the effect of the insecticide, toxicological indices were calculated.
