Education of patients with malignant breast disease

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo shrnout možnosti, které má žena v České republice v rámci prevence, léčby a následné péče po zjištění diagnózy zhoubného novotvaru prsu. Hlavním cílem práce a její nedílnou součástí byla edukace z pohledu učení i praktického pojetí, jako součást ošetřovatelského procesu a celkově jako pomocník sestry v péči o pacienta. Edukace je zaměřena na tři oblasti. První oblastí je primární prevence jako součást zdravotní výchovy. Druhou oblastí je právě probíhající nemoc a v neposlední řadě oblast třetí, která je zaměřena na život po tomto nebo s tímto onemocnění. Žena byla brána z holistického pohledu se zřetelem na všechny bio-psycho-sociální oblasti osobnosti. Práci doplňuje praktická ukázka edukačního materiálu.

Abstract:

This paper?s aim was to try to sum up the prevention, treatment and sequential care possibilities for a woman with a malignant breast disease diagnosis. The paper focuses on education which comprises of studying and practical interpretation and is a part of nursing process or generally a nurse?s tool for helping provide better patient care. Education consists of three areas. First, the primary prevention as a part of health education. Second, the actual disease and third, education concerning life with the disease or after a therapy. All bio-psycho-social areas of a woman?s personality were considered for the analysis. The paper is complemented with an example of possible education material.
