Incidence of endovascular treatment of patients with ischemic cerebral stroke in carotid artery and vertebral artery basin, who were treated in Faculty hospital in Ostrava during years 2019 - 2020

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice ischemické cévní mozkové příhody s cílem zjistit incidenci iCMP. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie mozkových tepen, dále je definována iCMP, incidence a klasifikace onemocnění, příčiny, diagnostika, rizikové faktory a prevence, průběh a možnosti léčby ischemické cévní mozkové příhody a je popsána možnost endovaskulárního řešení tohoto onemocnění. Praktická část je věnována zpracování dat o pacientech léčených pro ischemickou cévní mozkovou příhodu v letech 2019-2020 ve Fakultní nemocnici v Ostravě. Studie těchto dat má za cíl zjistit incidenci iCMP podle kritérií pohlaví, věku, lokalizace ischemie, škály ASPECT, podle provedeného endovaskulárního výkonu a pomocí škály mRS je zhodnocena úspěšnost léčby.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with an issue of an ischemic cerebral stroke. The purpouse of this thesis is to find out incidence of an ischemic stroke. The theoretical part describes the anatomy of brain vessels. Further defines the stroke, its incidence and classification, diagnostics, risk factors and prevention. After that there are informations included about therapeutic options and about the endovascular treatment. In the study were processed data about patients cured for ischemic cerebral stroke during years 2019-2020 in Faculty hospital Ostrava. The goal of this study is to establish incidence of ischemic cerebral strokes according to gender, age, localization of ischemia and ASPECT scale. After that the count of each option of endovascular treatment is analysed and with data from mRS scale is rated the success of the treatment.
