Abstract:

Svobodná vůle a odpovědnost jsou dvě stěžejní témata mé bakalářské práce. Dle nich je tato práce strukturována do dvou základních částí. První část je převážně zaměřena na výklad svobodné vůle, ale spolu s tím se zabývá i filosofickým chápáním morální odpovědnosti. Na začátku první části jsou vysvětleny problémy determinismu a indeterminismu, s jejichž pomocí jsou dále vymezeny základní filosofické teorie svobodné vůle, mezi které patří teorie kompatibilismu, inkompatibilismu, libertarianismu, hard determinismu a hard inkompatibilismu. Dále se výklad zaměřuje na praktické zkoumání svobodné vůle lidí i na samotný postoj běžného člověka k této otázce. Část druhá navazuje na problematiku svobodné vůle a zapojuje ji do dalšího nosného tématu, jímž je otázka odpovědnosti. Úkolem této pasáže je vysvětlit chápání právní i morální odpovědnosti a popsat jak jejich vzájemný vztah, tak vztah každé z nich jednotlivě ke svobodné vůli. Závěrečné shrnutí výše uvedených poznatků má pak za cíl podtrhnout celkovou myšlenku práce, která spočívá v pojetí svobodné vůle jako podmínky morální i právní odpovědnosti.

Abstract:

Free will and responsibility are two of the main topics of my thesis. According to them, this work is divided into two main parts. The first part is mainly focused on free will issue, but also deals with philosophical understanding of moral responsibility. At first, the problems of determinism and indeterminism are explained, because their clarification helps to further specify the essential theories of free will, which are theory of compatibilism, incompatibilism, libertarianism, hard determinism and hard incompatibilism. Furthermore, the interpretation focuses on the more practical exploration of the free will problem and adds the common person's attitude on this issue. The second part of the thesis follows the issue of free will and connects it with another significant theme, the question of responsibility. The main goal of this part is to explain the understanding of the terms legal and moral responsibility, and to describe not only the relationship between them, but also the relationship of each of them and free will. Final summary of the above mentioned findings than aims to underline the overall idea of the thesis which lies in the concept of free will as a condition of moral and legal responsibility.
