Tato práce se zabývá tématem veřejné žaloby, která může být uplatněna k ochraně veřejného zájmu. Aktivní legitimace byla nedávno rozšířena z nejvyššího státního zástupce také na veřejného ochránce práv, proto tato práce obsahuje srovnání a shrnutí dosavadní činnosti obou v problematice veřejného zájmu. The thesis deals with the issue of public action that can be applied in the public interest.
