Marketing study of athlete's identification with the sponsoring company

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o sportovním marketingu a jeho uplatnění ve vrcholovém sportu. Vysvětluje význam sportovního marketingu, činnosti sportovních manažerů a v neposlední řadě také význam sponzoringu. Dále nabízí náhled do uplatňování sportovního marketingu v praxi, a to prostřednictvím společnosti Sport Invest, která marketingově zastupuje významné české vrcholové sportovce. Součástí je detailní průzkum spolupráce mezi touto společností a zastupovanými sportovci, jejími obchodními partnery a také mezi zastupovanými sportovci a obchodními partnery. Výstupem práce je návrh metodiky spolupráce pro potenciální sponzorující firmy a návrhy kroků pro zlepšení spolupráce mezi společností Sport Invest a sportovci, které marketingově zastupuje, návrhy kroků pro zdokonalení spolupráce s jejími obchodními partnery a také návrh na zlepšení spolupráce mezi sportovci a obchodními partnery společnosti Sport Invest.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a sports marketing and its assertion in a top level sport. It explains the cosequence of sports marketing, activities of sports managers and last but not least the consequence of sponzoring. The thesis later offers a point of view of the assertation of sports marketing in a real life by means of a Sport Invest company, which represents some of prominent Czech top level athletes. An important part of this thesis is a detailed exploration of the partnership between this company and represented athletes, its trading partners and also between represented athletes and these trading partners. The thesis output is a creation of the methodics of a cooperation for potencional sponsoring companies, followed by a plan for improvement of the cooperation between Sport Invest company and represented athletes, the cooperation between Sport Invest company and its trading partners and the cooperation between represented athletes and these trading partners.
