Útoky typu Cross-Site Scripting sú rozšírenou hrozbou, ktorá ohrozuje v podstate všetky webové aplikácie. Napriek tomu, že táto hrozba je nespochybniteľná, mnoho webových aplikácií a ich tvorcov ju neberú dostatočne vážne.
