Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce pojednává o agenturní činnosti, se zaměřením na problematiku zastupování, produkci a funkci celého hudebního managementu. Na úvod se pro lepší zařazení do kontextu věnuje vzniku a historii hudebního průmyslu a promotérství, které se začaly rozvíjet již v dobách klasické hudby, kde se i dodnes postupuje podobným způsobem. Dále na živou hudební kulturu a současnou situaci v této oblasti. Neopomíjí ani činnosti hudebního manažera či agentury a jejich důležitost v tomto procesu. V další části se věnuje vybraným pořadatelským agenturám. Zodpovídá na otázky, na základě jakých kritérií dané společnosti oslovují interprety a jaká je v tomto případě role agenta – hudebního manažera. Současná situace ve světě také vybízí k otázkám, jak se hudební průmysl respektive produkční společnosti vyrovnávají s restrikcemi a opatřeními, která značně omezují běžný chod koncertů a dalších hudebních akcí v roce 2020 respektive 2021.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with agency activities, focusing mainly on the issue of representation, production and function of the entire music management. At the beginning, for a better placement in the context, it focuses on the origin and history of agency activities which began to develop in the times of classical music and still proceed in a similar way. Furthermore, it focuses on live music culture and its current situation. It also includes the activities of the music manager or agency and their importance in this process. The next part deals with specific organizing agencies. It answers the questions what are the basis of criteria with which the given companies address the performers and what in this case is the role of the agent - music manager. The current situation in the world also raises questions about how is the music industry along with the production companies coping with restrictions and measures that significantly limit the normal run of concerts and other music events in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
