Analysis of key points in the matches of the highest women's beach volleyball competition

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje analýze klíčových bodů v beach volejbale v nejvyšší ženské soutěži. Na nejvyšší úrovni týmům nechybí kondiční, fyzické, či technické dovednosti, o výsledku utkání rozhoduje z velké části psychika. V metodách jsme použili výkonovou křivku, která měla za cíl ukázat, jaké body příznivě či nepříznivě ovlivňují výkon týmu během zápasu. Pozorovali jsme patnáct setů v soutěži FIVB (International Beach Volleyball Federation) týmů Makroguzova/Kholomina, Huberli/Betschart, Bansley/Brandie. Ukázalo se, že nejčastěji tým vítězil nad soupeřkami, když soupeřky začaly dělat chyby. Z analýzy také vyplývá, že v trénincích by se hráčky na elitní úrovni měly především nejvíce zaměřit na obranu v poli.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the analysis of key points in beach volleyball in the highest women's competition. At the highest level, teams no longer lack conditioning, physical or technical skills, the outcome of the match is largely determined by psychology. The performance curve was used in the methods, which aimed to show which points positively or negatively affect the performance of the teams during the match. Fifteen sets were observed in FIVB (International Beach Volleyball Federation) competition of teams Makroguzova/Kholomina, Huberli/Betschart, Bansley/Brandie. It turned out that most often the team won over the opponents when the opponents started making mistakes. The analysis also shows that in training, female players at the elite level should mainly focus on defense on the court.
