Liberation of the Philippines during World War II
Abstract:
Diplomová práce věnující se filipínské kampani v letech 1944 a 1945, během které Spojenci osvobodili Filipíny od Japonců. Práce se věnuje hlavním bojům o souostroví, včetně největší námořní bitvy všech doby, jenž je známa jako bitva v zálivu Leyte či bojů o filipínské hlavní město Manilu.
Abstract:
Thesis on the Philippine campaign of 1944 and 1945, during which the Allies liberated the Philippines from the Japanese. The work is devoted to the main battles for the archipelago, including the biggest naval battle of all time, which is known as the Battle of Leyte Gulf, or the battles for the Philippine capital of Manila.
