Disabled people and their integration in the company in the Czech Republic and in Germany – comparison of sheltered workshop

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a porovnat současnou situaci zaměstnávání zdravotně postižených osob v České republice a ve Spolkové republice Německo, a tím zjistit, zda v německém systému integrace existují kvalitativně jiné - vyšší prvky péče o zdravotně postižené oproti českému systému integrace. Obě země budou porovnány z hlediska právních úprav, dostupných statistik a analýz, související literatury, výročních zpráv úřadů a webových stránek. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici zdravotně postiženého jedince, legislativní rámec, povinnosti a práva zaměstnavatelů vzhledem ke zdravotně postiženým, podporu a výhody zdravotně postižených, systém sociálního zabezpečení, chráněný trh práce a statistické srovnání. Dále zjišťuje situace zdravotně postižených na trhu práce. Součástí a zároveň dalším cílem, kterým se zabývá praktická část, je vzájemné porovnání chráněným dílen v obou zemích. Ve vlastním výzkumu byl vybrán a použit kvalitativní výzkum formou komparace strukturovaných rozhovorů.

Abstract:

The goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to describe and compare the current situation for employing disabled people in the Czech republic and in Germany and also, to find out, if there are other - higher quality elements of care available to the disabled community in Germany compared to that of the Czech Republic. Both states will be compared in terms of law, accessibility to both statistical and analytical data, related literature, annual reports from the bureau and relevant websites. The theoretical part will focus on the definition of disabled persons, legislative sources, duties and rights of employers to disabled people, support and benefits of disabled people, system of social provision, sheltered labour market and statistical comparisons. This section will also highlight the situation of disabled people on the labour market. The second part of my bachelor thesis will be addressed in a more practical approach, whereby my overall aim will be to compare and contrast the differences in the sheltered workshops of both countries. All research used is my own and any qualitative research has been evoked in the form of structured interviews.
