Complete and compact metric spaces
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je popsat základní vlastnosti úplných a kompaktních metrických prostorů. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole jsou uvedeny základní vlastnosti a pojmy metrických prostorů. Druhá kapitola je věnována úplným metrickým prostorům. Třetí kapitola se zabývá kompaktními metrickými prostory . Teoretické pojednání je doplněno příklady ilustrující danou problematiku.
Abstract:
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to describe basic atributes of complete and compact metric spaces. The text consists of three chapters. In the first chapter are presented basic notions of the metric spaces. The second chapter is focused on complete metric spaces. The third chapter presents compact metric spaces. Teoretical treatise is supplied by examples illustrated this tasks.
