Possibilities of presentation and popularization of traditional folk culture in the field of fashion

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o tématu Možnosti prezentace a popularizace tradiční lidové kultury v oblasti módní umělecké výroby. Cílem práce je vyhodnocení, zda spolupráce módních návrhářů a designerů s tradičními řemeslníky tvoří způsob, jak tradiční řemesla dostávat více do povědomí. V teoretické části je rozebrána historie i aktuální situace na trhu a ve vzdělávání v rámci tradičních a uměleckých a řemesel v České republice. Je uvedena právní ochrana tradiční lidové kultury a možnosti její popularizace. Práce představuje světové i tuzemské designery, kteří již zasadili prvky lidového umění do své tvorby nebo ho použili jako zdroj inspirace. Výzkum je veden na základě rozhovorů s držiteli titulu Nositel tradice lidových řemesel. Praktická část se zaměřuje na jejich představení a případné spolupráce. Na základě rozhovorů jsou zanalyzovaná získaná data, vyhodnocena výzkumná otázka a zformulována případná doporučení.

Abstract:

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the topic Possibilities of presentation and popularization of traditional folk culture in the field of fashion. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate whether the cooperation of fashion designers and designers with traditional craftsmen is a way to bring traditional crafts more into awareness. The theoretical part discusses the history and current situation on the market and in education within traditional and artistic and craft in the Czech Republic. The legal protection of traditional folk culture and the possibilities of its popularization are mentioned. The work presents world and Czech designers who have already used elements of folk art in their work or used it as a source of inspiration. The research is based on interviews with holders of the title Bearer of the Tradition of Folk Crafts. The practical part focuses on their introduction and possible cooperation. Based on the interviews, the obtained data are analyzed, the research question is evaluated, and possible recommendations are formulated.
