Diplomová práca sa zaoberá tromi najrozšírenejšími druhmi analýz, ktorými je možné skúmať finančné trhy. Práca podáva ucelený pohľad na to, čo všetko skutočne stojí za pohybmi na finančných trhoch a nazýva veci pravým menom, takže sa pri tom nevyhýba ani úvahám nad použiteľnosťou ortodoxných ekonomických teórií a paradigiem v tak novom prostredí, v akom sa ekonomika nachádza dnes.
