The aim of this thesis is to compare German idioms and their Slovak equivalents and determine to what extent and thus differ from each other. The thesis focuses on idioms related to negative emotions, expressing anger and quarrel in German and Slovak. The work consists of two parts. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je porovnať nemecké frazeologizmy s ich slovenskými ekvivalentmi a zistiť, do akej miery a čím sa od seba odlišujú. Práca je zameraná na frazeologizmy týkajúce sa negatívnych emócií, ktoré vyjadrujú hádky a zlosť v nemčine a slovenčine. Práca sa skladá z dvoch častí.
