Serious illness insurance

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pojištěním vážných onemocnění. Nejprve jsou vážná onemocnění definována a je představen produkt pojištění vážných onemocnění. Poté se tato práce věnuje různým pohledům českých pojistitelů na to, co u nich pojištění vážných onemocnění obsahuje, a tak i srovnávání nabídek pojišťoven. Obsahem této práce je dále popis faktorů, které ovlivňují cenu pojistného a ukázka kalkulace pojistného při změnách těchto faktorů. Následuje srovnání výhodnosti pojištění vážných onemocnění, pojištění trvalých následků úrazem a pojištění invalidity. V této části jsou jednotlivá připojištění představena a porovnávána. Následuje představení výhod a nevýhod jednotlivých připojištění a praktická ukázka, jak jsou nastaveny možnosti a ceny těchto připojištění v jedné z pojišťoven. Cílem této práce je čtenáři přiblížit produkt pojištění vážných onemocnění a ukázat, jaké další možnosti pojištění jsou na českém trhu a na co si třeba dávat pozor.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the insurance of serious illnesses. Firstly, serious illnesses are defined and a serious illness insurance product is introduced. Then this work deals with different views of Czech insurers on what is covered by insurance for serious illnesses, and thus comparing the offers of insurance companies. The content of this work is also a description of the factors that affect the price of insurance premiums and an example of the calculation of insurance premiums when these factors change. The following is a comparison of the benefits of serious illness insurance, permanent accident insurance and disability insurance. In this part, individual supplementary insurances are introduced and compared. The following is an introduction to the advantages and disadvantages of individual supplementary insurance and a practical demonstration of how the possibilities and prices of these supplementary insurances are set in one of the insurance companies. The aim of this work is to introduce the reader to the product of insurance of serious diseases and to show what other insurance options are on the Czech market and what to look out for.
