Occurrence and Evaluation of Healthy Status the Main Edifiers of Forest Stands in For-est Area Vítkov (Lesy České republiky, s.p.)

Abstract:

Buk lesní (Fagus sylvatica L.), javor klen (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) i javor mléč (Acer platanoides L.) patří mezi nejhojněji zastoupené listnaté dřeviny na území České republiky, konkrétně 8,6 % buk lesní a 1,5 % javory (Zelená zpráva 2018). Tato bakalář-ská práce byla zpracována na území Lesní správy Vítkov (Lesy České republiky, s.p.) a jejím účelem bylo zjistit zdravotní stav těchto vybraných druhů dřevin a zhodnotit jejich celkový habitus na různých, od sebe odlišných, stanovištích. Dendrometrická měření byla prováděna ve 4. a 5. lesním vegetačním stupni v souborech lesních typů 4A – lipová bučina, 4B – bohatá bučina, 4F – svahová bučina, 5S – svěží jedlová bučina, 3L – jasa-nová olšina. Výsledek tohoto měření ukázal, že nejvyšších výšek, největších výčetních tlouštěk, největších korun i největší produkce dřevní hmoty dosahoval buk lesní na SoLT 4A. Javor klen dorůstal na všech stanovištích do velmi podobných výšek, okolo 30 m, největší tloušťky měl však v 5 LVS na SoLT 5S, kde měl i největší produkci dřevní hmoty. Terénním šetřením se potvrdilo, že buk lesní i javor klen jsou vitální dře-viny, které do 4. a 5. LVS rozhodně patří.

Abstract:

European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), Sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) and Norway maple (Acer platanoides L.) are among the most abundant deciduous trees in the Czech republic, specifically 8,6 % beech and 1,5 % maple (Zelená zpráva 2018). This bachelor's thesis has been proceseed on the territory of the Vítkov Forest Adminis-tration (Lesy České republiky, s.p.) for the purpose of the research to determine the he-alth status of these selected tree species and evaluate their growth habit in different si-tes. Dendrometric measurements were performed in the 4th and 5th vegetation tier, in the forest site type complexes 4A - linden beech, 4B - rich beech, 4F - slope beech, 5S - fresh fir beech, 3L - ash alder. The result of this measurement showed that the European beech reached the highest altitudes, the largest enumeration thicknesses, the largest crowns and the largest wood production on SoLT 4A. The Sycamore maple achieved at all sites very similar altitudes, about 30 m. The largest enumeration thickness and wood production it has had in 5 LVS on SoLT 5S. The field investigation confirmed that the European beech and the Sycamore maple are vital trees and definitely belong into the 4th and 5th vegetation tier.
