Presentation and knowledge of FIS safety rules in the ski resorts in the Eagle Mountains

Abstract:

Lyžování a snowboarding je v České republice velice vyhledávaným způsobem rekreace. Otázkou je, zda lyžaři a snowboardisti znají pravidla bezpečnosti FIS a zda jsou tato pravidla v lyžařských střediscích řádně prezentována. Jedním z cílů práce bylo tyto znalosti pravidel bezpečnosti ve vybraných střediscích v Orlických horách zjistit. Byla použita jedna z kvalitativních metod, a to strukturovaný rozhovor. Rozhovor je sestaven z uzavřených otázek. Následný výzkum zjistil, že většina dotazovaných tato pravidla zná, i když neznají pojem ?Bílý kodex?. Druhým cílem bylo zjistit řízeným pozorováním prezentaci těchto pravidel. Ve střediscích označených 4 hvězdami tato pravidla nechyběla. Ve střediscích, která oceněná hvězdou nebyla, tato pravidla chyběla ve 4 z 5 středisek. Bílý kodex byl prezentován pouze ve středisku Farský kopec.

Abstract:

Skiing and snowboarding is very popular way of recreationin in Czech Republic. The question is whether skiers and snowboarders know the FIS safety rules and whether those rules are in ski resorts duly presented. One of the goals of this thesis is discover knowledge of safety rules in the selected centers in the Eagle Mountains. As a qualitative method was used structured interview. The interview consist of closed questions. Subsequent research found that a majority of respondents know the rules, even though they do not know the term "Bílý kodex?. The second goal was to determine presentation of this FIS rules with controlled observation. These rules were presented in ski resorts which has been labeled with 4 stars. Four of five ski resorts, which hasn?t been labeled with stars did not presented these rules. Bílý kodex was presented only in Farský kopec.
