Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá literární a ilustrátorskou tvorbou brněnského autora dětských knih Pavla Čecha. V úvodu práce je představena osobnost Pavla Čecha, biografické a bibliografické údaje, jeho malířská tvorba, výtvarná a literární inspirace. Dále následuje analýza všech děl napsaných do roku 2016, od autorských knih, přes komiksovou tvorbu, až po ilustrátorské práce. Čechova díla jsou rozebírána jak z literárního hlediska, tak i z výtvarného. Také je zde část zabývající se společnými znaky autorských knih a komiksů, část zabývající se jinými autory, jejichž díla Pavel Čech ilustruje. V poslední části diplomové práce je vysvětlen význam Pavla Čecha pro českou literaturu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with literary and illustration work of Pavel Čech, born in Brno, the author of children´s books. The first part of the thesis presents Čech´s personality, his biographical and bibliographical information, his painting work, his artistic and literary inspiration. Next part is the analysis of the whole Čech´s work written until 2016 including author´s books, his comic work and illustration work as well. There´s also a part based on the author´s personal common signs used in his books and comics. Another part of this thesis deals with other writers whose work Pavel Čech illustrates too. The last part is an explanation of the Čech´s importance in Czech literature.
