Life with bullous epidermolysis

Abstract:

Název: Život s bulózní epidermolýzou Úvod: Práce je zaměřena na život s onemocněním epidermolysis bullosa. Zabývá se definicí, klasifikací, genetickou problematikou nemoci, diagnostikou, pravidly terapie a ošetřování a organizacemi pomáhajícími pacientům s EB. Cíl: Prostřednictvím kazuistiky popsat kvalitu života s EB. Teoreticky analyzovat odbornou literaturu shrnující problematiku onemocnění epidermolysis bullosa a porovnat vlastní práci s jinými šetřeními zabývajícími se EB. Metodika: Vzhledem k výjimečnosti tématu byla zvolena metoda kazuistiky, případové studie dívky s Epidermolysis bullosa dystrophica. Ke sběru dat bylo použito pozorování, rozhovory a analýza dostupných dokumentů. Výsledky: Nemoc ve velké míře ovlivňuje kvalitu života pacientů. Nejenom pedagogové, ale i zdravotníci nemají s EB dostatečnou zkušenost. Stejně tak jako laická veřejnost není správně informována. Důraz u nemoci musí být především kladen na ošetřovatelskou péči a sebeošetřování. Stěžejní je i pohybová aktivita a pro dětské pacienty hrají nejdůležitější roli rodiče. Závěr: V důsledku nedostatečné informovanosti byl získaný materiál použit pro tvorbu informačního letáku. Omezené příspěvky zdravotních pojišťoven nelze ovlivnit. Byla zjištěna možnost skutečné léčby EB pomocí mesenchymálních buněk.

Title: Life with bullous epidermolysis Introduction: The work is focused on life with the disease epidermolysis bullosa. It deals with the definition, classification, genetic issues of the disease, diagnostics, treatment and treatment rules, and organizations assisting EB patients. Purpose: Describe the quality of life with EB through case reports. Theoretically analyze the literature summarizing the issue of Epidermolysis bullosa and compare own work with other EB investigations. Methodology: Due to the uniqueness of the topic, the case report method, the case study of a girl with epidermolysis bullosa dystrophica was chosen. Observation, in-terviews and analysis of available documents were used to collect data. Results: The disease greatly affects the quality of life of patients. Not only teachers, but also health care professionals do not have sufficient experience with EB. Just as the general public is not properly informed. Above all, the emphasis on disease must be on nursing care and self-care. Physical activity is also crucial and parents play the most important role for pediatric patients. Conclusion: Due to lack of awareness, the material was used to create an informati-on leaflet. Limited contributions by health insurance companies cannot be influen-ced. The possibility of actual EB treatment with mesenchymal cells was found.
