Constructivism in teaching of analytic geometry on secondary school

Abstract:

Konstruktivismus je moderní proud myšlení, který v posledních letech začíná pronikat do škol. Tato ideologie našla uplatnění i ve výuce matematiky, a to převážně na základních školách. Nic však nebrání tomu, aby se použil i u starších žáků, například pro výuku analytické geometrie. V diplomové práci představím konstruktivismus, shrnu teorii týkající se vektorové algebry a pomocí rámcových a školních vzdělávacích programů definuji cíle pro pracovní materiály. Na tomto základě budou vytvořeny a poté ověřovány v praxi.

Abstract:

Constructivism is a modern school of thought that has been gaining ground in education in recent years. This ideology has also been applied to the teaching of mathematics, mainly in primary schools. However, there is nothing preventing its use with older students, for instance, in the teaching of analytic geometry. In this thesis, I will introduce constructivism, summarize the theory concerning vector algebra, and define goals for instructional materials using school curriculum system. Based on this foundation, materials will be developed and then tested in practice.
