The Church Administration in Central Moravia until the Middle of the Fifteenth Century

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá církevní správou na úrovni far do poloviny 15. století, a to v oblasti okresů Brno-venkov, Brno-město, Vyškov, Prostějov a Blansko. Úkolem bylo zjistit počet středověkých kostelů na tomto území, studie zkoumá postavení farních a filiálních kostelů, zjišťuje zakladatele a počet patronátů náležejících zeměpánu, šlechtě vyšší a nižší a církvi. Práce se dále pokouší podle osob patronů určit, které patronáty mohly být užity ke zvaní husitských kazatelů. Zvláštní pozornost zasluhuje postavení kněží u kostelů.

Abstract:

The thesis concentrates on the church administration on the level of parishes until the middle of the fifteenth century with respect to the districts of Brno-City,Brno-Country, Vyškov,Prostějov and Blansko. Its aim is to determine the number of medieval churches in this region, it examines the position of parish and other churches, deals with its founders and tries to specify the number of churches where patronage was owned by the King, Church and the upper and lower nobility. The thesis also tries to determine which churches could have been used to invite hussite preachers. It also examines the position of priests at the churches.
