Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje úloze plazmidů v šíření antibiotické rezistence. Jsou v ní rozebírány některé hlavní skupiny antibiotik a mechanismy, kterými se mikroorganismy můžou stát vůči těmto látkám odolné. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the role of plasmids in the spread of antibiotic resistance. A few main classes of antibiotics and mechanisms of resistance to them are examined. Also, structures participating in dissemination of resistance, such as plasmids and other mobile genetic elements are described, along with mechanisms by which they are spread, which means horizontal gene transfer.
