Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Financování podniku a problémy optimální kapitálové struktury“ se zabývá dopadem kapitálové struktury a souvisejících finančních rozhodnutí na hodnotu podniku a ověřuje do jaké míry lze jednotlivé teoretické přístupy aplikovat v prostředí českých firem. V její teoretické části jsou představeny nejrozšířenější teorie řešící otázkou optimální kapitálové struktury. Praktická část popisuje možnosti financování podniků v České republice. Na vzorku několika českých firem je pak řešeno zda je kapitálová struktura relevantním pro stanovení hodnoty podniku. V závěru lze říci, že přesto že použitý vzorek firem nebyl velký, otázka existence optimální kapitálové struktury a tudíž nepřítomnost vlivu finančních rozhodnutí na hodnotu firmy nebyla potvrzena.

Abstract:

The thesis using the topic"Corporate Financing and the Problem of the Optimal Capital Structure" considers a possible impact of the capital structure and related financial decisions on the value of the firm and analyzes to what a degree it is possible to apply certain theoretical concepts to the environment of the Czech companies. In the theoretical part there are introduced the most widespread concepts analyzing the question of the optimal capital structure. The practical part describes possibilities of corporate financing in the Czech Republic. In the sample of Czech firms the question whether or not the capital structure is relevant for determining the value of the firm is addressed. Conclusion suggests that although the relatively small sample was used, the existence of the optimal capital structure cannot be exclusively confirmed.
