Materials and Mechanization in Cycling

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na studium materiálů a jejich vlastností používaných na výrobu rámů a dalších komponent jízdních kol. Dále je uvedeno rozdělení jízdních kol z pohledu funkce, pohonu, typu konstrukce a problematika návrhu vhodných materiálů v této oblasti. V praktické části práce je proveden návrh designu a analýza rámu kola z pohledu pevnosti a bezpečnosti. Závěrem je uvedeno porovnání konstrukčních materiálů z pohledu materia-tického, ekonomiky návrhu a výroby komponent jízdních kol.

Abstract:

The thesis has been focused on study of materials and their properties used for production of frames and other bicycle components. There has been further a division of bicycles from the point of view of function, actuation, type of framework and the design issue of suitable materials in this area mentioned. In the practical part of the thesis there has been design and analysis of the bicycle frame carried out in terms of strength and safety. In conclusion, the comparison of construction materials from the materiatic point of view, economy of design and production of bicycle components has been mentioned.
