Horseracing as part of British culture and sport in comparison with the situation in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to compare the situation in both countries and point out the most important differences and similarities. Horse racing is the second most popular sport in Great Britain whilst in the Czech Republic the popularity is quite low and we have yet a long way in front of us to improve the position of this sport amongst the Czech people.
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je porovnání situací v obou zemích a vysledování významných rozdílů a podobností. Koňské dostihy jsou druhým nejoblíbenějším sportem ve Velké Británii, zatímco v České republice je oblíbenost tohoto sportu značně nižší a v mnohém se máme ještě co učit, abychom vylepšili pozici tohoto sportu mezi naším obyvatelstvem.
