Risk of Bullying in Schools, Prevention and its Solution

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou faktorů vedoucích ke vzniku rizik šikany na Integrované střední škole technické a ekonomické v Sokolově. V teoretické části je na základě literárních rešerší přiblížen trojí náhled na tento fenomén, poté vysvětlen princip fungování šikany a fáze jejího vývoje. Práce se dále zabývá morálními profily charakteristik agresorů i obětí, forem šikany, legislativních aspektů a odpovědnosti za toto závadné chování před zákonem. V závěru teoretické části jsou uvedeny instituce, u nichž je možné, v případě složité životní situace, získat odbornou pomoc. Druhá část práce je věnována cílenému šetření ve vybrané instituci z pohledu možných rizik vzniku šikany v třídním kolektivu. Pro šetřenou instituci je zpracována SWOT analýza těchto faktorů a validován dotazník, který přináší odpovědi na otázky možného vzniku šikany mezi studenty prvních ročníků. Závěr práce hodnotí poznatky získané šetřením a konfrontuje je s reálným pohledem zúčastněného pedagoga.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of factors leading to the risk of bullying at the Integrated Technical and Economic Secondary School in Sokolov. In the theoretical part, the triple view of this phenomenon is presented on the basis of literature search, then the principle of the bullying and its development phase is explained. The thesis also deals with moral profiles of the characteristics of aggressors and victims, forms of bullying, legislative aspects and responsibility for this harmful behavior before the law. At the end of the theoretical part are mentioned institutions, where it is possible, in case of difficult life situation, to get professional help. The second part of the thesis is devoted to a targeted investigation in a selected institution from the perspective of possible risks of bullying in the classroom. A SWOT analysis of these factors has been prepar ed for the investigated institution and a questionnaire has been validated to answer questions about possible bullying among first-year students. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates the findings obtained by the survey and confronts them with the real perspective of the participating teacher.
