The use of hydroabsorbent in the artifical regeneration of the forest on the property of the Diocese of Ostrava-Opava

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, jak úspěšnost výsadeb ovlivní hydroabsorbent a mykorhizní přípravek. Pro toto vyhodnocení byly založeny výzkumné plochy na majetku Biskupství Ostravsko-opavského. Na založených výzkumných plochách byly porovnávány tyto dřeviny: Smrk ztepilý (Picea abies (L.) Karsten) a Buk lesní (Fagus sylvatica L.). Dvě výzkumné plochy byly zaměřeny především na užití mykorhizního přípravku a v menší míře na užití 4g dávky Hydrogelu. Další dvě výzkumné plochy byly pak zcela zaměřeny na užití hydroabsorbentů a to Hydrogelu (4g a 6g) a Terracottemu (4g a 8g). Vybrané plochy se nacházely na těchto souborech lesních typů: 5S, 5N, 6S a 7N. Na každé ploše bylo změřeno a vyhodnoceno 100 jedinců od dané dřeviny a varianty, u kterých byly změřeny a zjišťovány zejména tyto parametry: výška nadzemní části, přírůst, tloušťka kořenového krčku a vitalita, dále byly měřeny a zjišťovány parametry, které pomohly upřesnit výsledky. Poté byly provedeny statistické analýzy podle jednotlivých stanovišť, dřevin a variant. Byl prokázán pozitivní vliv mykorhizního přípravku, zejména u smrku ztepilého (Picea abies (L.) Karsten) jak na ujímavost, tak na následné odrůstání. Dále byl prokázán pozitivní vliv 4g dávky Hydrogelu jak u smrku ztepilého (Picea abies (L.) Karsten), tak i u buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica L.) na svěžích i kyselých stanovištích.

Abstract:

The objective of this diploma thesis was to find out how to successfully prove the influencing hydroabsorbent and mycorrhizal fungal mixture. For this evaluation, research areas were established on the estate of the Diocese of Ostrava-Opava. The following tree species were compared on the established research areas: Norway Spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karsten) and European Beech (Fagus sylvatica L.). Two research areas focused mainly on the use of a mycorrhizae fungal mixture and to a lesser extent on the use of 4g hydroabsorbent polymers. The other two research areas were then completely focused on the use of hydroabsorbent polymers namely Hydrogel (4g, 6g) and Terracottem (4g, 8g). Selected areas were located on the following sets of forest types: 5S, 5N, 6S and 7N. On research areas, 100 plants from each variant were measured and evaluated, for which we changed and found out the following morphological parameters were measured and determined on each research area: height of plant, increment, root collar diameter and vitality, as well as parameters were measured and determined that helped to refine the results. Then statistical analyses were performed according to individual forest types, tree species and variants of soil conditioners. A positive effect of used a mycorrhizal fungi mixture treatment was demonstrated, especially for plant establishment and growth Norway Spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karsten). Furthermore, a positive effect of a 4g dose of Hydrogel was demonstrated in both Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karsten) and european beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) in fresh and acidic habitats.
