Abstract:
Diplomová práce dává ucelený přehled na špionážní román v anglické literatuře, sleduje jeho vznik a vývoj od samých počátků až do současnosti. Poskytuje informace o hlavních představitelech tohoto literárního žánru včetně stěžejních děl těchto autorů. Zabývá se i hlavními rysy hrdinů některých hlavních děl tohoto žánru.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis gives a general view of the spy novel as a literary genre in English literature. It shows its rise and development in history and tries to present it up to now. The work contains also the most important protagonists of this literary genre plus their works. Simultaneously it provides the information about the main features of some heroes of the most important spy novel books.
