Táto práca sa zaoberá softvérovo definovanými sieťami (SDN) a ich realizácii v prostredí operačného systému Windows Server. Poskytuje základný náhľad do konceptov SDN a spôsobov využitia ich výhod. Keďže použitie SDN vo Windows Server úzko súvisí s virtualizáciou, práca sa ďalej venuje network offloading technológiám a ich praktickej konfigurácii.
