Rehabilitation of an adult subject after femur fracture, medial meniscus reconstruction and skin graft: case report

Abstract:

Reports of polytrauma cases are not uncommon when looking at the cause of these, it is no surprise that road markers are one of the main causes of these clinical pictures. The presentation of the clinical case described in the following report is of great importance as the lesions suffered at the femoral, meniscal level and the removal of substance from the lower lateral part of the thigh did not negatively influence each other, making the patient able to have to go through a multidisciplinary rehabilitation project in a linear and complete way. In fact, it will be possible to find an initial theoretical framework for understanding the foot of the following case, as the complexity of the neighboring structures, however affected by the lesions, should not be underestimated. In fact, precisely because of the simplicity with which the patient has gradually but steadily recovered from the operation on the femur and knee, with subsequent skin grafting can deceive the difficulty of the physiotherapy treatment, but only with a strong collaboration of the patient and with careful evaluation of the times for administering the appropriate exercises has led to this extraordinary result. In fact, the various stages that the patient had to reach and overcome in six weeks of hospitalization are illustrated, where it was possible to take full advantage of the facilities provided by the hospital environment. This has in fact made it possible, especially in the second phase of recovery, to use tools that are difficult to find at home, such as parallel bars with aids for putting the patient's balance in difficulty. For this reason, the patient was probably able to reach a degree of autonomy such that he could not continue to carry out any exercise or therapy at home.

Abstract:

Le presentazioni di casi politraumatizzati non sono rare se si guarda alla causa di questi e non ? una sorpresa che gli indicenti stradali siano una delle principali cause di questi quadri clinici. L'esposizione del caso clinico descritto nel seguente elaborato ? di grande rilevanza in quanto le lesioni avute a livello femorale, meniscale e dell'asportazione di sostanza dalla parte latero inferiore della coscia non si sono influite negativamente a vicenda facendo si che il paziente abbia potuto percorrere un progetto riabilitativo multidisciplinare in maniera lineare e completa. Infatti si potr? trovare un quadro iniziale teorico per la comprensione piede del successivo caso, in quanto la complessit? delle strutture limitrofe comunque influenzate dalle lesioni non ? da sottovalutare. Infatti, proprio per la semplicit? con cui il paziente ha recuperato in maniera graduale ma costante dall'operazione al femore e al ginocchio, con successivo innesto cutaneo pu? ingannare sulla difficolt? del trattamento fisioterapico, ma solo con una forte collaborazione del paziente e con un'attenta valutazione dei tempi per la somministrazione degli adeguati esercizi ha portato ha questo straordinario risultato. Infatti si illustrano le varie tappe che il paziente ha dovuto raggiungere e superare in sei settimane di ricovero, dove si ? potuto sfruttare appieno le facilitazioni date dall'ambiente ospedaliero. Questo ha infatti permesso soprattutto nella seconda fase del recupero di utilizzare strumenti difficilmente reperibili al domicilio, come per esempio le parallele con gli ausili per la messa in difficolt? dell'equilibrio del paziente. Per questo probabilmente il paziente ha potuto arrivare ad un grado di autonomia tale che avrebbe potuto non continuare al domicilio ad eseguire nessun esercizio o terapia.
