Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na historii a současnost skautingu v Novém Jičíně. První kapitola teoretické části se zabývá ideologií skautingu a popisuje vznik celosvětového skautingu i českého Junáka. Druhá kapitola je věnována městu Nový Jičín a způsobům volnočasového vyžití, které město nabízí. Třetí kapitola již spadá do praktické části práce a pojednává o vzniku, vývoji, opakovanému přerušení a obnovení skautské činnosti v Novém Jičíně. Čtvrtá a poslední část práce obsahuje nejvýznamnější události, které se staly od roku 2003 až do současnosti, znázorňuje vývoj členské základny, oddílů a hospodaření střediska Pagoda.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis looks at the past and present of the Scout movement in Nový Jičín. The opening chapter deals theoretically with the ideology and values of Scouting, and describes beginning of the movement globally, as well as in the Czech lands. The author in the second chapter deals with the town Nový Jičín, and the leisure opportunities the town offers. The third chapter ? the practical core of the thesis ? presents chronologically the history of Scouting in Nový Jičín: Its foundation and development, and series of bans and re-starts of the Scout activities. The fourth ? concluding ? chapter focuses at the most important events of the Scout Unit ?Pagoda?, membership statistics, list of troops and economic results since 2003.
